  • We provide full-service DJ & MC packages for a wide range of gatherings, including weddings, private parties, corporate events, galas, fundraisers, and community celebrations.

  • All packages include DJ & MC performance + premium audio coverage. As music lovers, we pride ourselves in using top-quality, well-maintained equipment.

    Beyond the gear, every event includes:

    • Planning & Timeline Support: Going over every important detail to map out the flow of the day so everything is seamless.

    • Your Music, Curated: No generic playlists. We build soundtracks that actually reflect your taste and culture.

    • Working With Your Team: Coordinating directly with your planner and vendors so everyone is on the same page.

    • Backups for the Backups: Redundant systems for every critical piece of gear. If a cable fails or a laptop glitches, the music doesn't stop.

    We operate as a boutique studio rather than a high-volume agency. We don’t treat our clients as homogenous; we believe your wedding or event deserves a level of manual preparation that "plug-and-play" models just can't provide. The truth is, most of the work happens well before we even step foot in your venue.

  • We DJ in a fully open format with a library that spans the spectrum: Top 40, Pop, Hip-Hop/R&B, Disco, and Rock, plus a deep catalog of Global sounds—Afrobeats, Cumbias, Bachata, Reggaeton, Bollywood, Persian, Arabic, and K-Pop. Even things like Anime J-Rock and viral dance challenges (we love a good Naruto run).

    Our true niche is a genuine love for all music and a commitment to growing our cultural repertoire. If there’s something you want to hear that we haven’t discovered yet, we’d love to learn about it.

    We believe the DJ’s role is to make everyone on the dancefloor feel welcomed, safe, and seen. Whether your crowd is indie/alt, punk, boujee, unapologetic, queer, neurodivergent, BIPOC, or immigrant—we’re here for all of it. We approach every event with cultural humility and a community-focused lens. After all, what’s a party without empathy? A party by yourself?

  • Unlimited input. We love collaboration—and we want to hear all about your favorite music. Our goal is to make the night feel like your soundtrack, not like a boring corporate playlist. We’ll spend time deep-diving into your tastes and building out your "Must-Play" and "Do-Not-Play" lists together. Think of us as partners in curation; your input is the foundation of the entire set.

    While we always honor your requests as the client, we also ask for creative leeway during the event itself. The magic of a live party happens in the pivots—reading the energy of your guests and knowing exactly when to drop the next track to keep the momentum going. We’re at our best when we have the freedom to follow the pulse of the dancefloor while staying firmly within the "vibe" we’ve built together.

    What about guest requests?
    During our planning consultation, we can talk through exactly how you want us to handle your guests’ requests. Whether you’re open to them, want them played only if they match the vibe, or need us to 'intercept' certain songs you know are coming (but definitely DON’T want to hear)—we’ve got you. We’ll be the filter that keeps the party aligned with your vision.

    Custom song edits
    If you have a very specific vision for a big moment or a choreographed dance that requires exact transitions (e.g., “Transition to song B at 0:42”)—ask about our custom song editing service!

    Live events are beautifully unpredictable, and some songs require deeper studio manipulation to mesh well together. By producing a custom track for you ahead of time, we ensure the transitions are flawless and you have a finished file to practice with. This removes the "guesswork" and keeps the live performance smooth, professional, and surprise-free.

  • Transparency is a core value at Ella Luv Co. We set our pricing based on the level of preparation, specialized equipment, and the dedicated attention each event requires.

    • Full Weddings: Packages start at $2,600. (The complete experience from ceremony through the final dance with multi-area sound coverage included)

    • Reception-Only Weddings: Packages start at $2,000.

    • Ceremony-Only Weddings: Starting at $1,200.

    • Private, Corporate or Special Events: Starting at $1,400.

    • Community or Non-Profit Events: Starting at $900.

    Our Commitment to Equity & Accessibility
    As a company rooted in empathy and restorative values, Ella Luv Co offers sliding-scale options for equity-driven initiatives, coalition-building, and grassroots organizing. We prioritize supporting work centered on racial justice, LGBTQIA+, immigrant and labor rights. We encourage reaching out to discuss how we can support your work within your budget.

    For folks who aren’t organizing those types of events: if our values are aligned but our rates are a barrier, please reach out. We recognize that for many, a “standard” wedding budget is simply out of reach. While our rates are set to sustain the level of service we provide, we do our best to reserve a limited number of dates each year—primarily on weekdays/off-peak dates—to accommodate folks who share our commitment to community but are working with a more restricted budget.

  • We primarily serve in San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. We’re happy to travel to celebrate with you wherever you are.

    We do charge travel for events more than 50 miles from San Diego. For further destinations, we provide a custom logistics quote to cover equipment transport and travel, ensuring the same high-end experience regardless of the map.

  • At Ella Luv Co, we believe in specialization over saturation. While we have the technical expertise to provide photo booths, we choose to focus 100% of our energy on the art and skill of sound, lighting, and creative media.

    Technical reason for those interested:
    Professional booths are complex ecosystems (cameras, processors, proprietary software, and high-speed thermal printers) that require constant maintenance. They’re kind of like a custom-built gaming PC—except if a required OS update can suddenly make the whole system “stop talking” to the hardware mid-event. We’ve seen “big box” companies treat them as set-it-and-forget-it revenue streams without investing in the necessary upgrades or the specialized labor required of them, or just subcontract to third parties they can’t personally quality-control.

    We believe you deserve a vendor who is obsessed with their craft; for that reason, we recommend that you go with a dedicated photo booth company who refresh their tech and styling as passionately as we refresh our music and media.

  • Of course. Every booking includes a comprehensive contract with all the details clearly defined. Ella Luv Co is fully licensed and insured, and we are happy to send over a Certificate of Insurance to your venue or coordinator upon request.
