After years of DJing for other companies, I knew that it should could be different.
Too often, businesses are setup to be transactional—driven by volume or ego. But DJing and events should be about bringing people together.
Even so, most companies gatekeep, push what they think is best, and treat clients like they don’t know what they want—all while underpaying the people doing the actual work.
I started Ella Luv Co to do things differently—to run an honest business rooted in transparency, respect, and care.
For clients. For workers. For everyone.
Because I believe we all deserve to be seen, valued, and celebrated—with intention and care.

From the ground up
The company is new—but I’m not.
As Leon de La $co, I’ve built a reputation as one of the highest-reviewed DJs in California—known for blending genres, reading the room, and crafting experiences with heart and intention.
Beyond the decks, I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Ethnic Studies, focusing on how music connects people across generations and communities. I’m also certified in sound recording, and spent years running the boards at a commercial radio station in San Francisco—learning the art of sound from the inside out.
Now, I’m bringing it all into Ella Luv—reimagining how we show up for the people who trust us with their biggest moments.
I believe in working with care—without ego, sales gimmicks, or performative tactics—because it matters.
It’s how we tend the soil.
It’s how we help the garden bloom—together.
As Ella Luv grows, so does its goal: to set a new standard—one where inclusivity, ethical business practices, and people are at the core.
