After years of DJing for other companies, I knew that it should could be different.
Too often, weddings and celebrations are treated like transactions—focused on sales volume rather than the people who bring them to life. Diversity, when acknowledged, can feel more like a marketing tactic than genuine representation. But events should be about connection, intention, and celebrating people in a real way.
I took the leap to create Ella Luv in order to foster a collective and a culture rooted in authenticity and connection. A place where people are valued, and where every experience is crafted with intention and care.

The company is new—but I’m not.
As Leon de La $co, I’ve built a reputation as one of the highest-reviewed DJ’s in California, known for my ability to blend genres, read the room, and to craft experiences with intention and care.
Beyond the decks, I hold a Master’s degree and Ph.D. candidacy in Ethnic Studies, specializing in hip-hop studies, music subcultures, and the ways music brings people together across generations and communities.
Now, I’m taking everything I’ve learned and love about music and putting it into Ella Luv.
I want to reimagine how we show up and engage with the people who trust us with their biggest moments. We create experiences that feel personal, vibrant, and culturally aware—without the ego, the sales gimmicks, or performative care.
